Privacy Policy
1. Data controller
This privacy policy describes how we process personal data on validera.dk. The data controller is:
- Litpersona Danmark ApS
- CVR no.: 37947431
- Parcelvej 4, 4470 Svebølle, Denmark
- Email: za@litpersona.dk
If you have any questions about how we handle your personal data, please feel free to reach out at the email above.
2. Personal data we collect
We only process the information you give us, plus a limited amount of technical data needed for the site to function:
- Newsletter: email address and last name.
- Demo bookings: name, email address and any notes you choose to add in the booking form.
- Technical data: aggregate visitor statistics (page views, approximate geography) without personal identifiers.
We do not collect special-category data (e.g. health or trade-union data) via this website.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Newsletter (1–2 emails per month with Validera updates): your explicit consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. We use double opt-in, so you confirm your sign-up via a link in a confirmation email.
- Demo bookings: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and our legitimate interest in responding to prospective customers under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Operating the website and anonymous statistics: our legitimate interest in running a secure and well-functioning site under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Where the data comes from
We receive all personal data directly from you — when you sign up for our newsletter, book a demo, or write to us by email. We do not obtain personal data about you from third parties.
5. Recipients and processors
We share your data with a small number of processors that provide technical services on our behalf. We have signed data processing agreements with each of them:
- MailerLite (UAB Mailerlite, Vilnius, Lithuania) — sends our newsletter and stores your email address and last name. As an EU-based provider, processing takes place within the EU/EEA.
- Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA) — handles demo bookings. Calendly is established in the United States, and the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA) — hosts the static files of the website. Transfers to the United States are based on Standard Contractual Clauses. Vercel does not set marketing or tracking cookies on this site.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Retention
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, after which your data is deleted at MailerLite. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email.
- Demo bookings: for as long as the enquiry is active, plus a reasonable archive period for documentation and follow-up. After that the data is deleted.
- Anonymous statistics: contain no personal data and are kept in aggregate form only.
7. Cookies and analytics
We do not set our own marketing or tracking cookies on validera.dk. We use a cookie-free, aggregate visitor measurement (page views with no personal identifiers and no cross-site tracking).
When you open our Calendly booking widget, Calendly may set its own cookies inside the widget. Similarly, MailerLite may set cookies on the confirmation page you are sent to after signing up for the newsletter. Those cookies are governed by the respective providers' own privacy policies.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have a number of rights when we process your personal data:
- Right of access to the information we hold about you.
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure ("the right to be forgotten") under certain conditions.
- Right to restriction of processing.
- Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to data portability — to receive your data in a commonly used format.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, contact us at za@litpersona.dk. We normally respond within one month.
9. Complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet):
- Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark
- Email: dt@datatilsynet.dk

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time if our practices, services or the applicable law change. The current version is always published on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
